I Love You Guys

Dedicated to the efforts of Jason C. and ‘little Jersey’

Teenager’s room, rock posters on the walls, littered with soda and empty food containers. There is a couch piled with clothes and stray school books. Snowboards, a surfboard, and skateboards, now lifeless, adhere to the ceiling, which slants towards audience. Door stage left. There is a door on the rear wall, which is blocked by police tape. A window stage left has a pull down blind. Its screen is bent, leaning at the base of the window.

Cooking with Madeline’s Recipes, Utensils & Ingredients

...as intrepreted by Thornton & Jamie Davidson

A series of five cooking classes, conducted in a private home, using the same recipes and enthusiasm that made Madeline Davidson one of the most admired teachers and food journalists in the Central Valley. Before the Food Network and countless cooking blogs and websites, Madeline was networking with people about food through her columns and articles in The Fresno Bee and in her cooking school (with Margot Finkle), “What’s Cooking?”.

Wake Up, Darling

Dedicated to the efforts of Jason C. and ‘little Jersey’

Teenager’s room, rock posters on the walls, littered with soda and empty food containers. Mock gang graffiti on the walls with a pile of spray cans nearby. There are two couches piled with clothes and stray school books. Snowboards, surfboards, and skateboards, now lifeless, adhere to the ceiling, which slants towards audience. Door stage left. The windows to the rear and stage right are covered with tapped-together newspaper and foil. A window stage left has a pull down blind.

Soaps of Paris

A ONE Act

Setting is a not quite bleak room in a community rec center and an adjoining office, also bleak. There is one door into the rec room from the outside, stage right. The characters enter and exit through the door stage right. Two windows sit uncomfortably close to one another on the back wall of the rec room. A dirty blind is fully drawn on one window; the other is open to a view of the Eiffel Tour at night. Six chairs are arranged in a rough semi-circle, a seventh chair is set behind one the chairs, preferably stage left.
